Web Development

Overview

Web development is the work involved in developing a Web site for the Internet or an intranet. Web development can range from developing a simple single static page of plain text to complex web applications, electronic businesses, and social network services.

Python can be used to build server-side web applications. While a web framework is not required to build web apps, it's rare that developers would not use existing open source libraries to speed up their progress in getting their application working. PHP is a server scripting language, and a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages. Express is a minimal and flexible Node.js web application framework that provides a robust set of features for web and mobile applications.

Angular is a TypeScript-based open-source web application framework led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations. React is an open-source front-end JavaScript library for building user interfaces or UI components. Bootstrap is a free and open-source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development. It contains CSS- and JavaScript-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation, and other interface components. jQuery is a JavaScript library designed to simplify HTML DOM tree traversal and manipulation, as well as event handling, CSS animation, and Ajax.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system. MongoDB is a source-available cross-platform document-oriented database program. Classified as a NoSQL database program, MongoDB uses JSON-like documents with optional schemas.
